Porcelain waist-up lady with tiny waist and ample bosom, her head held upward and sideways, sculpted thick auburn hair with arranged side curls, ringlet curls onto shoulders, and chignon at the back, her arms posed away from body, sculpted and painted bodice with lavender collar which matches the lavender throat ribbon, ruffled cuffs. Marks: (crown symbol) B.T. 154 4 1/2. Excellent condition. Germany, Goebel, circa 1915, a rare model whose auburn hair color is perfectly matched to color of brows; a variation of this model is #46 of this catalog.
