Solid domed bisque socket head,brown glass inset eyes,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,ears pierced into head,lambswool wig,early composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists,wearing original (frail) maroon silk and lace dress,undergarments,bonnet,shoes,stockings,Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E.G. (body stamp). Comments: Ernst Grossman,who,in 1880,registered the first German composition ball-jointed body. Value Points: rare doll with signed Grossman body,in charming petite size.
