19"(48 cm.) All-composition doll with socket head,brown sleep eyes,lashes,closed mouth with
rosebud-shaped lips,brunette human hair wig,five piece composition body. The doll is wearing
her original pleated dimity dress with matching undergarments,socks and shoes,and she is
holding an all-composition Baby Tinyette in its original organdy dress and bonnet. Excellent
condition of both,minor faint craquelure on Tinyette,eyes faded on Ann. Marks: Effanbee Patsy-

10"(25 cm.) Each is all-composition,with socket head,painted very large brown side-glancing
eyes arranged to be glancing at each other,painted lashes,closed mouth with rosebud-shaped
lips,five-piece composition body,and each has very elaborate white mohair wig in the late 18th
century style,and is wearing exclusively designed costumes for the May Company department
store celebrating the bicentennial birthday of George Washington. Marks: Effanbee Patsyette Doll.

8" (20 cm.) and 11". Each is all composition with sculpted short curly hair,painted side-glancing
googly eyes,button-shaped nose,closed mouth with impish smile,and painted shoes and socks.
The larger doll is marked "patent pending" and has hinged hips that allow her to swing back and
forth; and the smaller pair have swivel waist that allow them to pivot side-to-side,and are
marked "Pat. Applied for L.A. & S c. 1928". Amberg,circa 1928. Costumes appear original but not
known certainly,composition and painting excellent.

19" (48 cm.) All-composition doll with socket head,brown sleep eyes,real lashes,painted
lashes,lightly feathered brows,open mouth,four teeth,blonde mohair wig arranged in ringlet style
with original hair bow,five piece composition body. The doll is in excellent unplayed with
condition with beautiful complexion and crisp,fresh original costume comprising yellow organdy
petal-shaped dress with matching undergarments,socks,shoes,and having white rabbit fur coat
and hat with satin lining. She is unmarked but has her original celluloid pin "Miss
Charming,Everyone Loves Me" with a photograph of the doll. Goldberger,circa 1935,the doll was
clearly intended to appeal to Shirley Temple market and has a remarkable resemblance in both
face,wig and costume,tempered by the unusual brown eyes. A rare doll in superior condition.

toddler body. Each is wearing its factory-original Tyrolean style costume and original celluloid
pin "White Horse Inn",and each has its original gold heart paper label "This is Patsy Tinyette".
Excellent condition. Effanbee,circa 1936,the dolls were released by Effanbee as promotional dolls
for the Broadway play,"White Horse Inn"that opened in 1936.
