All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted head, complexion, hair, and facial features, brown painted hair in thick-impasto painting technique, with side part and little curls at the side forehead, painted brown eyes, white eyedots, red and black upper eyeliner, long curly lashes, brown single-stroke brows, stitched ears, oil-painted stitch-jointed body, separate thumbs, defined fingers, wearing fine antique costume including great coat with velvet trim, and having an antique photograph pin depicting man with side-parted hair. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1920. Value Points: rarity factors include petite size, brown hair color, brown eyes, and very rare hair style.
