Rare American Cloth "Rough Rider" by Babyland Rag

15" (38 cm.) All-cloth doll with flat-dimensional face, painted facial features, light brown eyes, brown and red upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, curly short hair, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Babyland Rag, circa 1895, the doll portrays "Rough Rider", from the Teddy Roosevelt lore of 1892. Value Points: rare model wearing original Rough Rider uniform with jacket, belt, trousers, leggings, shoes and hat.
