14" (36 cm.) All-composition with socket head,sculpted hair with curly forelock,painted large blue side-glancing eyes,dot brows,closed mouth,jointed arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Scootles,designed and copyright by Rose O'Neill,A Cameo Doll (original label). Comments: the Rose O'Neill design appears to be a joint venture of Cameo and Noma Toys of Canada; the doll is preserved in its original box labeled "Scootles Doll,cat.no.1349,Made in Canada by NOMA Toys Limited,Owen Sound,Ont.,Toytown of Canada". Value Points: perfectly-preserved condition with original romper suit,socks and shoes,original label and box,and with three award-winning ribbons including Best of Show at 1990 Kewpiana.
