Pressed bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, delicately painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, separately sculpted pierced ears, impressed chin dimple and philtrum, antique brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists and plump limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: EJ/A 1 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, the very rare EJA bebe model was made for one or two years only,1879/1880, and few models are known to exist. Value Points: especially beautiful example of the rare early bebe has finest creamy bisque and painting, original body and body finish, with early maroon and aqua silk bebe dress, bonnet, undergarments, stockings, shoes and jewelry.
