Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, very pronounced dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, kid body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 905. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: a rare early model from the prestige firm has captivating gentle expression, fine bisque and painting.
