Bisque socket head with distinctively-shaped pointy nose, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined tongue tip between full lips, shaded and accented lips, impressed lip corners, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition and wooden body with attached ball-joints, straight wrists, fine antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 14. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: very rare model by Kestner with striking resemblance to the French bebe marked A.T. by Thuillier, with finest bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
