5 1/2" (14 cm.) Waist-up figure of lady turned sideways and bearing a heavily-laden tray of fruit in her outstretched arms, with brown sculpted hair in rolled chignon capped by a jeweled coronet, gold bead necklace, and sculpted costume including neck shawl which is modeled draped away from her back. Marks: 9331. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, Titian's 16th-century painting formerly believed to be a portrait of his daughter, Lavinia, and now known as "Girl with Platter of Fruit", inspired several porcelain firms of the early 1900s in a sculpted creation of the scene.
