Rare Italian Felt Character "Tom" from 500 Series by Lenci

21" (53 cm.) Felt swivel head with plump cheeks, pressed and painted facial features, brown-side glancing eyes, grey lower eye shadow, painted lashes, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent dots on bottom lip, blonde frizzy-curled mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: very good, some fading. Comments: Italian, Lenci, model 500, circa 1930. Value Points: rare early model with wonderful expression, original body including smock with embroidered name "Tom".
