4" shoulder width. 7" waist. 13" overall length. A
very beautiful fabric of sheer muslin with
interwoven vertical bands and printed abstract
rose design,has a rounded neckline with very full
bodice,set-in waistband,and cartridge-pleated
skirt. The short fitted sleeves are hidden by two
layers of widely-flared ruffles,and the dress has
fine lace trim at neckline and sleeve edges. Hook
and eye closure at the back with added draw-string
adjustment at the neck. Circa 1860.
