The navy blue wool twill dress has dropped waist with blouson bodice below a fitted blue velvet yoke,very full sleeves with wide cuffs,pleated skirt,hip sash of same material and decorated with embroidered white dots and soutache braid on cuffs and at the neckline. Circa 1885.
