Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, brown glass inset eyes, painted curly lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accent center line on pale lips, pierced ears, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, light retouch to body. Marks: 177 6. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1882, mystery maker. Value Points: lovely painting of eye features and lips.
