Two German Porcelain Half Dolls by Dressel Kister

Each is waist-up porcelain figure of adult nude lady with elegantly posed head and arms,one with flowing waist-length hair that is topped by a wide-brimmed lavender bonnet with purple bow; and the other with very formally-arranged coiffe in the late 18th-century style,a letter held in her left hand. Each with blue bishop?s staff marking. Excellent condition,small flake on edge of purple ribbon. Dressel Kister,circa 1900. Property of the Strong Museum.
