Two Petite German Bisque Dolls by Kestner

11" (28 cm.) and 9". Each has bisque socket head, glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, tiny eye rim flake on smaller. Marks: Made in Germany 128 (larger) Made in Germany 0 143 (smaller). Comments: Kestner, circa 1900, the larger has blonde mohair wig and brown eyes, the smaller has brunette mohair wig with blue eyes. Value Points: the pretty petite pair each have original composition body with original finish, original wig and pate.
