Each is waist-up porcelain figure of nude woman,posed in Sphinx-like manner with index finger held to mouth,each with sculpted and elaborately- decorated headdress and jewelry,the larger with amber complexion and green head-dress with ruby,blue and black decorations,with red stamp _France",and the smaller with sienna head-dress with yellow accents,incised 23151. Excellent condition. Circa 1910. Property of the Strong Museum.
