plump-faced woman clasping a purse which is half-hidden
under her striped ruffled aqua and blue cape. She has long
brown ringlet curls under a tan sunbonnet with pale pink
bows and ribbons. Excellent condition. Germany,circa
1915,the figure was presented in a variety of cape colors
and sizes and is attributed to Dressel Kister.
7" (18 cm.) The two-piece porcelain powder box is in the
shape of a highly-stylized flapper-era lady with widow?s
peak hair cut,sharply-angled eyes,elongated arms,cobalt
blue and green painted costume which separates below the
hips for access to the hollow interior. Along with a
matching perfume bottle. Marked with Goebel symbol,and
DF241 on box,and XF158 on perfume. Excellent condition.

black bobbed hair with head-dress,earrings,painted gold

with short side-parted brown bobbed curls in a demure
pose,her arms folded in front of her torso,her harlequin
costume in geometric blue and yellow colors separating at
her hips for access to the hollow interior,and with
painted blue shoes,white stockings,and on original
porcelain base. Marked 11357 and DRGM. Excellent

9" (23 cm.) A porcelain powder box is styled as though a
Spanish lady with high black mantilla,black painted hair
with spit curls,yellow gown,black shawl,and holding a fan.
The box opens at her hips for access to the hollow
interior,and rests upon self base with painted flowers.

6" (15 cm.) Posed on the lid of a white porcelain powder
box is an elegant lady with brown hair and full-length
lavender gown,tenderly clutching her puppy,while Pierrot
lies at her feet,his head hidden,his classic costume
enhanced with yellow accents and shoes. Incised Goebel

5" (13 cm.) seated. A blue porcelain arm chair has a bowl-
shaped seat in which is perched a pink powder puff,which
forms the lower torso of a slender lady,her arms folded
behind her side-turned head which rests against the chair
back,with short red bobbed hair,and having attached
matching slender legs,crossed at the ankles,with red
painted shoes. Marked with Goebel crown symbol and incised

5" (13 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure of nude lady,having
grey sculpted hair arranged with rolled curls at the side
and a very high beehive with topknot that is decorated with
a red and blue beaded garland,with slender torso and arms
that are modeled away from her body. Excellent condition.

4" (10 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure of child with blue
sunbonnet trimmed with yellow streamers,holding a blue-
covered book in her extended hands,from which she appears
to be reading or singing. Excellent condition.

early catalog of the firm from a series of child models,and
was available as a full figure or as half doll.
