Celluloid swivel head on celluloid shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with accent line between the smiling lips, unpierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French muslin poupee body with kid arms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1872. This smiling poupee model was deposed in that year. Value Points: very rare variation of the beloved model.
