Very Beautiful French Bisque Poupee with Fine Early Costume

22" (56 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with plump facial modeling,cobalt blue glass enamel eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with center accent line,unpierced ears,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with shapely torso,gusset-jointed limbs,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Blampoix,circa 1860. Value Points: very beautiful pale bisque with dramatic eyes,fine early homespun costume with soutache embroidery,undergarments,blouse,woven bonnet with lace lining,basket,old leather shoes.
