Porcelain shoulder head with oval slender face,very elongated throat,tinted complexion,brown sculpted hair with center-part,five short ringlet curls at each side of the face and smoothly-drawn hair at the back with a suggestion of chignon,small blue down-cast blue eyes in deeply-set eye sockets,red upper eyeliner,brown single-stroke brows,aquiline nose with accent dots,closed mouth with extended center line forming into a slight smile,kid gusset- jointed body,wearing lovely antique gown with peach silk ribbons,silk sash with gold tassel tips,undergarments,black velvet slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: KPM (blue crossed swords). Comments: KPM Meissen,circa 1840. Value Points: exquisite quality of porcelain and painting,beautifully-sculpted brown hair.
