Very Fine German Porcelain Lady with Brown Sculpted Chignon 

20" (51 cm.) Thick pink-tinted porcelain shoulderhead of slender-oval-faced lady with pink-tinted complexion, elongated slender throat, sloping shoulders, brown sculpted hair draw smoothly into loops in front of her sculpted ears and drawn into a braided chignon at the back of her head, painted large blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with full lips, muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain lower legs with painted ankle boots, pink-tinted porcelain lower arms, antique costume and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1H inside shoulder plate (see photo). Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: especially beautiful lady with fine gleaming patina of complexion, rare brown hair and unusual large eyes.
