Very Rare Earliest Period Cloth "Alice in Wonderland" with Flat Face

22" (56 cm.) All-cloth doll with one-piece head and torso, flat-dimensional face with painted facial features, large side-glancing googly like eyes, six curly upper lashes, blonde yarn hair with blue hair ribbon, stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips. She is wearing original cotton print dress with mother-of-pearl buttons, lace-edged slip and panties, socks, and black leatherette shoes with shoe-button closure. Very good condition, some darkening of complexion and hair, yarn somewhat sparse. Madame Alexander, late 1920s, a very rare early doll.
