Very Rare German Brown-Haired Porcelain Gentleman by KPM Berlin

Porcelain shoulderhead with light pink tinted complexion, slender oval face and elongated throat, sculpted brown hair in side-parted finish waved smoothly around his face and forming into two slight curls above the partially-modeled ears, painted blue upper-glancing eyes, red upper eyeliner, accent dots at eye corners, single-stroke brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, six sew holes, early muslin stitch-jointed body, kid arms, antique gentleman's costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: KPM (blue block letters and scepter mark). Comments: KPM Berlin, circa 1840. Value Points: rare early porcelain gentleman in larger size, brown hair with very deep sculpting, finest complexion and painting.
