Wonderful Pair of German Bisque Miniature Dolls, 114, by K*R in Original Costumes

Each has bisque socket head, painted facial features, small blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with very full fretful lips, mohair wig, five-piece paper mache body with painted shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 19. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the models Gretchen and Hans from the firm's art reform character series, circa 1910. Value Points: pristine original costume of each doll, rarely ever found as a pair, he with wonderful embroidered liederhausen.
